We offer you a range of practical courses to help you learn the skills you need to gain the qualification you want, whether that’s at entry level with an RYA competent crew certificate, or at the other end of the scale with RYA Yachtmaster ocean. So: our goal is for you to achieve your desired qualification through the achievement of the standards needed to pass.

So we’re not going to talk about how good our yachts are – how comfortable, fast, shiny or grand – frankly that’s irrelevant. We’re talking here about you learning new skills – skills that are fun to acquire, but skills that need learning just the same as when you were at school. Remember how some teachers managed to get the message across, somehow they were easier to understand – things were so much clearer.

You see each of us responds to different stimuli, some of us are kinaesthetic – we respond more to touch, some aural – we respond to what we hear, and some visual – responding to what we see, so classroom training doesn’t suit everyone. It is well known that the very best method of learning combines all of these senses – and our practical courses do just that - In a stress free enjoyable environment (we learn quicker when we are relaxed and enjoying ourselves).
